First to do is to ask: what is slow, my internet connection, or my PC. Most of the times the PC is guilty for the 'slow' effect...
First, you must run a spyware removal software... one fast, good and reliable is: XSoftSpy I ran it on my PC and at the first attempt it removed about 300 different files, registry entries and spyware that was constantly interrupting my connection to send some 'friendly' information about my behaviour and click sequences of my internet browsing... since then I run the program every weekend to clean all my 'risky navigation'
You must know that I use to spend more than 10 hours each day 'browsing' and analyzing all the infinite web... I think that we are on an over-informed web and era... where the more you know the less you really know!

ADSL or Cable
Right now you can choose, ADSL or Cable... both of them have advantages as well as disadvantages.
ADSL or DSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) works through your phone line... Cable like its name runs along your TV signal...
There are some important things to know that I will write tomorrow...

Speed Tests on the Internet
Well, as a pro on the Speed Tests reviews, I will write constantly about the quality of the speed tests that are available on the Internet.
The speed test results quality will depend on many factors, such as location, line quality, line congestions, your PC registry, and many others that I will try to disclose during this blog posts.
It is important to know that there are many types of speed tests, some that just measure your instantaneous speed, like when you see the speed your car is at a particular moment, and other tests measure a full set of factors that will give you an average result.
Some of them are rudimentary and others very modern.
Many of this sites offer the service for free, and some of them collect a small fee.
It will depend on how critical your connection speed is...
Enjoy the speed!
